World Cultures

Welcome to World Cultures for Grades 3,4, and 5 at the Harker School!

World Cultures, where students will learn about the world around them, be introduced to a new language and culture in each trimester.

Students will be engaged in active participation using Spanish, French and Italian once every 6 letter day cycle.  We will have ten cycles in each language where students will learn how to introduce themselves, make small conversation, recite the days of the week, months of the year, and expand their knowledge of the different aspects of culture.

Students should come prepared to participate, sing along, dance, play games and most of all have fun using a new language in an open and accepting environment.

Our goal is to embrace our Wonderful World!
