Students can find their Google Classroom by going to classroom.google.com or connecting through the Clever App. Mrs. Tatam's World Cultures Classrooms are color coded (3rd Grade will have YELLOW Google Classrooms, 4th Grade will have GREEN Google Classrooms, and 5th Grade will have BLUE Google Classrooms.) They will be named by section, then WC and their Homeroom Teacher's name. (In the example to the left, 3-01 is the section, WC then Watkins is the homeroom teacher). There are 31 sections of World Cultures.
In the STREAM Section of Google Classroom, they will find Announcements as well as Current Events related to World Cultures and Optional ASL Decoder Challenges.
From STREAM, students can access their Classwork and all relevant material from their classes under the ASSIGNMENTS TAB. See below for how the STREAM is organized...
In the Classword Tab, Students will find their lessons listed from the newest to oldest. Each week is designated by the Target Language, the Cycle or Lesson Number (We have ten cycles per semester of each language), and relevant information, assignments, and extras. The lesson targets are listed for each lesson, as well as a quick title to help the student find the information they are seeking.
Mrs. Tatam will post the information for the next Lesson usually by F-day of the week prior, and your student is NOT expected to read the material beforehand. Most to all of the information will be used during class and this is mainly a way to attach in digital homework, projects, and allow students who are absent to catch up on the missing class information.
