ICD10 Codes

Every service must have an ICD10 code set up in SpEd Forms in order to submit the claim to DHS for reimbursement. The code can be a Diagnostic code if it is within your scope of practice to diagnose, or if it has been provided by a licensed medical or mental health provider.

If you do not have a medical diagnosis, you should always use a "Signs & Symptoms" code. You can click "Find Code" and the ICD10 Code "tree" can be used. Signs & Symptoms are "R" codes. I find the fastest way to find the code is to do a web search, for example, "ICD10 code anger".
