What was your early life like?

Happy childhood, busy and active. Worked odd jobs in neighborhood to earn money. Built and flew model airplanes. Dated girls and took care of my Chevy convertible and ski boat. Ice skated, Roller Skated, Snow and Water Ski.


What were your parents’ occupations?

Father: Assistant Superintendent of Mails, Post Office

Mother: Housewife

Union High School, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Drexel University


What was your highest level of education?

Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering, Drexel University


Experience in Aviation?

Private Pilot license SEL, and SES. Later earned a commerical glider and UAS certificate. Attended Embry Riddle University part time for fun and earned aircraft mechanic rating-airplane. Earned all credits for powerplant rating except turbine.


Work Experience?

Worked as a postal clerk in Post Office to pay for college, which I was attending full time while working. After graduation, worked 40 years as a mechanical design engineer for Westinghouse. Obtained professional engineer license, in NJ, PA, and Texas and practiced as a licensed professional engineer in those states as a self-employed engineer.


What airplanes have you flown?

Cessna 150, 152, 170, 172, 182, RG, Cardinal, Schwietzer and Grob Twin Sailplanes, Piper Cherokee, Some Piper taildraggers.
