What was your early life like?

All the good things I did I credit my folks, all the bad things I did I blame on Dr. Spock :-)

Plano Tx through HS, Texas Tech BS, Mechanical Engineering Technology; Embry Riddle (remote campus) MS, AF Air Command and Staff College MS

2x MS, Aeronautical Science Technology and Military Art & Science

How did you spend your leisure time?

Competitive small bore rifle team (in HS), pursuing pilot's license, working on cars & motorcycles.

Were you in the military?

Yes, 27 years, Retired in 2012

What did you do in the military?

Intelligence Officer, stationed around the world. Eventually held the top intelligence position in Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and later Air Force Space Command (AFSPC).

If you have retired from the military what have you been doing since retirement?

Obtained FAA Light Sport Repairman certificate with Maintenance Rating, I inspect and maintain Experimental and Special Light Sport Aircraft (E-LSA & S-LSA) . Civil Air Patrol (CAP) pilot and squadron finance officer. Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 35 Vice President, Chapter 1608 member. Volunteer FAA Flight Safety Team (FAAST) Representative. Best of all got to be part of SWHS's new aviation program coordinating mentor support and helping with all the moving parts of a new program.

Cessna C-150, C-152, C-172; Piper Tomahawk PA38-125, Cessna T-37B Tweet, Northrop T-38 Talon, Earthstar Odyssey (Experimental, Amateur Built), Jabiru 230D (S-LSA)
