March 2021: Kindergarten learned about SYMMETRY! We learned that something that is symmetrical is the same on both sides! We practiced out symmetry by creating monarch butterflies! All of the orange spots on our butterflies are symmetrical!
March 2021: Kindergarten read the book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" by Mo Willems! Then, they participated in a guided drawing of Pigeon! Students got creative with their backgrounds and their pigeons.
February 2021: Students learned about Georgia O'Keefe! They loved how she painted close-up flowers! Kindergarten learned how to use tempera cake to create our own Georgia O'Keefe inspired flowers!
