This class is open to grades 9, 10, and 11.
This is a semester credit.
Introduce students to the concepts of professional selling
Develop communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Work in conjunction with the Academy Apparel at the SWCA to practice selling and designing skills
Analyze customers needs, create designs for clients, plan presentations, and maintain positive business relationships
Monitor trends and the business environment to determine the impact on their sales, customers, and competitors.
Negotiate and adjust prices based on cost, create invoices, and maintain sales records
A student who takes one full credit or two half credits in the same pathway will have their fine arts credits waived.
The CTE courses can be taken in lieu of the Fine Art courses.
