Year 5

Week 6 - Monday 1^st June 2020

Dear Children,

I hope you have had a good half-term break. I would like to thank all of the children who have continued to send me their work last week. Well-done!

We are back to our virtual Year 5 and we have a busy week ahead of us so get ready!

On Monday - in our IPC I will reveal the answers to the Symbol Quiz and give you a Politics Quiz to do. I will also begin with our new IPC theme - Great Ideas. Great Ideas will focus on great ideas developed of humanity in different fields: philosophy, art, science and business. On Monday I will introduce you to Copernican Revolution.

On Tuesday - some exciting maths problems revising the order of mathematical operations. and, yet again, I will have to ask you to Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally.

On Wednesday, in our literacy lesson, we will look at biographies and I will ask you to start working on one.

On Thursday we will do a SPAG lesson with a focus on extra information in a sentence (brackets and dashes).

And on Friday, as usual, we are going to have our live lesson.
