I’m in my kitchen trying to get some work ready for you.
I hope you joined in and tried the work. I know you may not have a printer but try your best.
You can always copy the work on to paper.
I know you already would have known
but I wanted you to have some fun.
Here is my Max in his origami boat. I hope you tried some other origami activities.
(remember these are ideas for the week)
When you go to the new website with all the work the first page has a lot of writing and a short video from Avril. Look for the blue writing that says

Click on it and it will take you to a list of websites
Renaissance place – This is AR and you can login in and do a quiz. THERE IS ONE DIFFERENT THING TO DO.
Login in like normal
Go to take a quiz

Write the title instead of the number (if you haven’t got the number). Check the author is the same.
Click and start the quiz.
Don’t worry about if it’s a book in your box or not.
If you are not sure your books at home are on AR just try if no quiz is found that means no!!
OR go back to the page and scroll down to the blue writing
It says you can do a quiz on these books but I’m finding it hard to find books with a quiz. It doesn’t matter you can read these books. I’m going to put up titles of books I think are good and we might use some in literacy.
I’m going to check AR if you don’t pass don’t worry. JUST HAVE A GO!! And enjoy reading in a different way.

It is like writing in your journal writing but you are pretending you are in the tree. (Use the video for ideas)

Draw the tree with some of the characters.

I’m giving you a lot of activity sheets. Some you can do by yourself and some you may need a partner. Some are games and you may need to make things to go with your game. Do your best, have a try and remember 100’s have 3 digits (numbers). They are all here.
Parents please mark their work as they go along. It’s good for them to have feed back straight away especially for the maths.
I would like you to learn a poem. You need to learn it without reading it. This is called reciting (repeat aloud from memory)
Listen to the video
Then use the poem to practice. You could video yourself reciting it.
Click on the writing. It will take you back to the origami page. Look at the green menu and click on paper airplanes. Choose two to make. Which one is the best? Test them to find out.
