Hello everyone in Year 2,
I’m in my kitchen trying to get some work ready for you. I hope things are going well. I love the work that is being sent to shareyear2@swbschool.net. This is a website and your parents can take a photo of your work then email it.
I know you may not have a printer but try your best. You can always copy the work on to paper.
Monday
Handwriting
I know I can’t check your handwriting. However we need to keep doing neat and joined up handwriting.
Rules
1. Always start on the line. You will see a red dot that’s the start point.
2. Don’t pick up your pencil until you finish the word.
3. Go back and check you crossed your t and dotted the i.
We are going to use tongue twisters for handwriting.
Copy carefully because there will be a lot of the same letters.
Copy these tongue twisters carefully. Then read them out loud and see if you can say them really fast.

Our World - The environment
Words with meanings
An endangered species is any type of plant or animal that is in danger of disappearing forever. If a species, or type, of plant or animal dies out completely, it becomes extinct.
Extinction of a particular animal or plant species occurs when there are no more individuals of that species alive anywhere in the world - the species has died out.
Tigers are on the endangered list of animals.
The tiger population in the wild is slowly recovering and there are only 3,890 tigers are left in the world in the wild.
Design a poster to encourage people to save tigers in the wild.
These are some I found to give you ideas.
On your poster say why it’s important to save the tiger.
I hope you have a good week.
You can share work by email on shareyear2@swbschool.net.
Get your parents to help send it.
Try your best and have a good time.
