Second grade Social Studies is dedicated to students learning about the world around them. We start by learning the continents and oceans, then move into the major mountain ranges and rivers of the world. We will learn about land forms. We will close the year by learning about traditions and customs from various countries and how the resources in an area can affect its industries and jobs. I will post various videos and websites through the year students can watch at home to further their understanding.
