Thinking of all of you! I hope you are drawing and creating each day using all the imagination you hold within!
...missing you...
This video is about an artist who needs only her fingers and tubes of paint to create her art. Iris Scott stopped using brushes when she was tired of washing them between colors she was using. Iris decided to use her finger to apply fresh, new color into her painting one day. From that point on, with gloves on, she dips her fingers into paint and applies it on the canvas creating texture with her hands she couldn't achieve with a brush.
Maybe you can try the same without a brush. It's great having the paint on your hands and controlling it in a way you cannot using a brush!
For those of you who were interested in a basic airplane through origami, this design is definitely manageable after all the skills you have learned!
With this project in particular, starting out with a square is not necessary. Standard 8.5 x 11" paper is all you need!
Send me your creations at: diane.scherny@swanseaschools.com
I'd love to see them!
