FUTURE SIMPLE TENSE

หลักการใช้

1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต ซึ่งขณะที่พูดนี้ เหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำนั้นยังไม่ทันเกิดขึ้น และมักจะมีคำวิเศษณ์บอกเวลาที่เป็น อนาคตมาร่วมด้วยเสมอ เช่น

• I shall go to Chiang Mai tomorrow.

• He will leave for New York next week.

เอาล่ะคราวนี้มาดูกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกเวลา (adverbs of time)ที่ทำหน้าที่ใน Future Simple Tense กันนะครับ

- soon - shortly - in a short time - in a moment

- in a few minutes (weeks, months, years) - tonight

- tomorrow - next week, (month, year)

- next Monday (Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.

2. ประโยคแสดงอนาคตที่มีกริยา 2 ตัว ให้ใช้ Future Simple Tense กับกริยาเพียงตัวเดียว ส่วนอีกตัวหนึ่ง (คือประโยคที่อยู่หลังคำเชื่อม) ให้ใช้ Present Simple หรือ Present Perfect Tense กริยาที่ใช้ Future Simple Tense คือ กริยาที่อยู่หน้าคำเหล่านี้ คือ if, unless, until, as soon as, before, after, the moment that, by the time that, now that เช่น

• They will leave after they have finished their homework.

• Aom will stay here until her mother arrives from her office.

โครงสร้างประโยค

1. โครงสร้างประโยคบอกเล่า : (Affirmative Sentence)

Structure = Subject + will, shall + verb 1 + ……………..

Examples : Sunee will go to school tomorrow.

The Students will come to Ajarn Poo’s house tomorrow.

2. โครงสร้างประโยคปฏิเสธ: (Negative Sentence)

Structure = Subject + will, shall + not + Verb 1 + ………….

Examples : Atom will not go to school tomorrow.

Atom won’t go to school tomorrow.

The Students will not come to Ajarn Poo’s house tomorrow.

The Students won’t come to Ajarn Poo’s house tomorrow.

Tip will not = won’t

shall not = shan’t

เวลาที่นักเรียนต้องการเปลี่ยน Future Simple Tense ในประโยคบอกเล่าให้เป็นประโยคปฏิเสธก็ง่ายนิด...เดียว..เพียงแค่เติม not หลัง shall หรือ will เท่านั้นเอง

3. โครงสร้างประโยคคำถาม: (Interrogative Sentence)

Structure = Will, Shall + Subject + Verb 1+………..?

Examples Will Sunee go to school tomorrow?

Will the Students come to Ajarn A’s house tomorrow?

Tip นักเรียนจะเห็นว่า การเปลี่ยนประโยคบอกเล่าให้เป็นประโยคคำถามใน Future Simple นั้นแสนง่าย เพียงแค่ย้ายตำแหน่ง Will หรือ Shall มาไว้ต้นประโยค แล้วตบท้ายด้วย “ ? ” ก็ถือว่าเป็นอันเรียบร้อยแล้วล่ะครับ

4. การตอบคำถามใน Future Simple Tense

ในการตอบคำถามใน Future Simple นักเรียนก็สามารถใช้กริยาช่วยอย่าง will, shall, shan’t

หรือ won’t มาใช้ในการตอบคำถามแบบสั้น ๆ ได้ เช่น

Will Sunee go to school tomorrow?

Yes, she will.

No, she won’t.

Will you come to Ajarn Moy’s house tomorrow?

Yes, I shall.

No, I shan’t.

5. โครงสร้างประโยคคำถาม ปฏิเสธ: (Negative Interrogative Sentence)

Structure = Shall, Will + Subject + not+ Verb 1+………..?

Examples Will Atom not go to school tomorrow?

Won’t Atom go to school tomorrow?

NEAR FUTURE

(อนาคตอันใกล้)

โดยปกติแล้ว เมื่อเราจะพูดถึงเหตุการณ์ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต เราจะใช้ Future Simple Tense

( Subject + will, shall + verb 1) แต่ในกรณีที่การกระทำหรือเหตุการณ์นั้นกำลังจะเกิดขึ้นอยู่แล้ว หรือจะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตอันใกล้ เราสามารถใช้โครงสร้างประโยคนี้ได้อีก

Subject + is, am, are + going to + Verb 1

Examples:

I am going to dance tonight. ฉันกำลังจะเต้นรำคืนนี้

He is going to dance tonight. เขากำลังจะเต้นรำคืนนี้

They are going to dance tonight. พวกเขากำลังจะเต้นรำคืนนี้

Going to + Noun (place) = กำลังไป

Going to + verb 1 = กำลังจะ

ข้อแนะนำในการใช้ is, am, are + going to + verb 1 (be going to) แทน will, shall

1. ใช้ is, am, are) + going + verb 1 เพื่อแสดงความตั้งใจ (Intention) แทน will, shall

Examples:

I am going to write to my mother this evening.

ผมกำลัง (ตั้งใจว่า) จะเขียนจดหมายถึงคุณแม่ของผมเย็นนี้

She is going to sell her car next week.

หล่อนกำลัง(ตั้งใจว่า) จะขายรถของหล่อนอาทิตย์หน้า

We are going to buy a house in Bangkok next month.

พวกเรากำลัง (ตั้งใจว่า) จะซื้อบ้านในกรุงเทพเดือนหน้า

2. ใช้ is, am, are) + going + verb 1 เพื่อแสดงการคาดคะเน (Suggestion) แทน will, shall

Examples:

I think it is going to rain.

3. ใช้ is, am, are) + going + verb 1 เพื่อแสดงข้อความซึ่งเชื่อว่าเป็นจริงเช่นนั้นโดยปราศจากข้อ สงสัย (Inevitability) แทน will, shall

Example:

My wife is going to have a baby.
