Hello Parents, this site will be updated at the beginning of August. Check back then. Looking forward to a great new year.
Hello! My name is Tracy Wojcik and I am so excited to be a part of the Sunol Glen 2/3 team and my third year in room 305. I will be teaching Thursdays and Fridays. I have 28+ years of teaching experience which includes instructing TK-2nd grade students at both private and public schools, in both traditional and non-traditional settings. My passion is helping students grow both academically and personally. Ms Cimino and I are looking forward to a wonderful 2025-2026 school year!
Sunol Glen School holds a special place in my heart because I began my student teaching experience here before continuing as a substitute for the first 2 years of my teaching career. Since then I taught in Danville for 14 years and within the San Ramon and Dublin Unified School Districts as a long term substitute. When I am not at Sunol Glen I provide tutoring support to individual families.
I earned my BA in History from San Francisco State University and my Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD Certification from St. Marys College. In addition I have an Early Childhood Teaching Certificate. I have also attended several professional development trainings including Reading Instruction, Arts and Classroom Management.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, camping, music and spending time with my children! My daughter is a school psychologist in the San Diego area and celebrated the birth of her son (my first grandchild!) last January! My son recently graduated from the University of Oregon (SCO Ducks!) and is currently living and working in the Bay Area.
There is nothing quite like teaching! I feel privileged and proud to be a teacher, because through teaching I realized my passion. I adore children and love working with them. To see the lightbulb turn on in my students' minds is simply magical. I believe in the whole child approach. Therefore my teaching is inclusive of the childs' cognitive, physical and social development. I am committed to help my students obtain the academic achievements and social developments necessary for successful lifelong learning!
I am looking forward to meeting our students and families! Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
