Please feel free to email us or arrange a time to speak with us after school if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say hi!
Your child will/was provided a school-home communication folder. Students are required to bring their folder to school each day and show it to a family member each night. This is an important school to family link tool. We will send home special project instructions, school flyers, tests, student work, etc.
Due to the high frequency of food allergies we discourage edible birthday treats. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday at school, we suggest your child brings in something non-edible for the class. Ex: Pencils, stickers, erasers, etc. You may also donate a class book, puzzle, game, etc.
We are permitted to pass out birthday invitations at school if the entire class, all the girls in the class, or all the boys in the class are invited. This prevents hurt feelings.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we try to maintain a happy, healthy classroom environment for all students in our class!
PE with Mr. Barnes:
2nd & 3rd grade students will be having PE two times a week for 50 minutes. Please make sure your child wears appropriate clothes and tennis shoes on PE days (check your class' weekly schedule).
We are going to need several volunteers this year… so get ready! If you would like to sign up please fill out the Google form/email your child's teacher. Also, please see the office for information on how to officially become a volunteer so you are cleared and ready to go. Unfortunately no siblings are allowed to join you while you are volunteering.
