The Framery

84 High Street

Downtown Lawrenceburg, Indiana

(812) 537-4319

The FRAMERY was established over 40 years ago in a small studio space by Mary Helen Crook, after having had shops in Newport Beach, California and Mariemont, Ohio.   The FRAMERY quickly grew to the thriving business you see today at 84 East High Street in Lawrencebrug. The FRAMERY staff’s unique talent for design is what Mary Helen contributes to the businesses success.

The FRAMERY frames everything from prints, photos, original art to jerseys, baseball bats, or even grandma’s hankie or button collection.  The possibilities of what can be created are endless, it’s a matter of deciding what meaningful treasure from the past should be kept, framed, preserved and displayed for all to enjoy.

Mary Helen felt the need for kids to learn art and art appreciation, so the FRAMERY added an art enrichment studio in 2005.  Art classes are offered for Petite Picasso’s, ages 3 to 5 through Divine DaVinci’s, ages 9 to 14. Girl Scout troops and Birthday Arty Parties are a big hit, too!  To kick off the Holiday Season, the Studio will have Art with Santa, ages 2 & Up, Holiday Pottery Parties, for ages 3 to 93, and a Holiday Art Camp for ages 6 to 14.  Fused glass classes were added for adults to enjoy. They will learn the technique and process for fusing glass and design and make a pendant, bowl, bottle stopper, or wind chime, a perfect gift for someone else…or yourself. Additionally, the FRAMERY hosts wine glass & pottery painting classes & parties!
