Vineyards and Breweries

• Whispering Oaks Vineyard- Beautiful views of the valley. Tasting room is open Thursday through Sunday. Live music and food trucks every Thursday night. It is a six minute drive away.

• Spyglass Ridge Winery- This spot is known not only for their wine but also for their Backyard Concert series that features famous performers. They also host festivals. Open Tuesday through Sunday. It is an eight minute drive away.

• Iron Vines- This is a small wine bar and production facility producing red, white, and specialty wines. Open Thursday through Sunday with live music most weekend nights. It is an eight minute walk away.

• Eclipse Craft Brewing- This Market Street favorite is an unpretentious spot to try a large selection of local brews. They serve pretzels and specialty pizzas. Open Wednesday through Sunday. It is an eight minute walk away.

• Hidden Stories Pop-Up Brewery- A cozy pop-up with local brews. 

• Nearby Lewisburg hosts Fero Vineyards and Union Cellars. It is a fifteen minute drive away.

Nature and Hikes

• Shikellamy State Park- Enjoy a breathtaking view of the river and soak in nature on the forest trails. Just a few minutes drive away.

• Woodward Cave- Go on an easy walking tour of one of the largest caverns in Pennsylvania. 45 minutes away

• Ricketts Glen State Park- An beautiful but challenging hike featuring 21 impressive waterfalls over seven miles.

• Penn's Cave and Wildlife Park- This unique experience features a fully-guided cavern tour by boat, wildlife park, an off-road mountain tour, gemstone panning, & more. Only an hour drive away.

• Fort Augusta & Hunter House- This was a colonial militia fort from the 1750s. Now a diorama of the Fort and a small museum with cannons.

Antique Shopping

• Rollermills Marketplace- The largest antique mall in the region, there are over 400 antique dealers in a restored Flour Mill from the 1880s. Open everyday 10-5. Located in Lewisburg, about fifteen minutes away. 

• The Famous Street of Shops- A renovated Woolen Mill hosts hundreds of vendors with local pottery, art, furniture, memorabilia, and more. There is also a restaurant inside. Open everyday. Located in Lewisburg.

Market Street Highlights

• STEAM Innovation Labs A local makers space offering regular classes in fiber arts, stained glass, ceramics, and other arts. 

• The first Weis Market ever built is located just off 2nd Street.

• Little Addy's is the spot for breakfast and a fancy coffee. The people are friendly. The food is delicious. The space is large and cute. You've got to try their signature coffee, the Addyonator. 

• The Edison Hotel is the first building in the world to be lighted using incandescent carbon-filament lightbulbs (July 4, 1883). Located in the lobby is a small museum. Inside the hotel is The Robin's Nest, a local restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Enjoy American food and a big slice of pie for dessert. 

• The Squeeze-In is an iconic spot for hot dogs. 

• Driftwood and Sage Boutique features handcrafted soaps, candles, and bath bombs.
