Cottage Room

The Cottage Room is the largest guest room at Sunflower Manor and one of the most requested. Designed with a relaxed, cottage-inspired whimsy, the room balances softness and scale. 

A king-size bed with a romantic canopy anchors the room, while a substantial desk positioned near the windows looks out toward the Susquehanna River, making it well suited for reading, writing, or remote work. A leather bench beside the fireplace creates a comfortable nook for quiet evenings with a book.

Generous storage includes a large dresser and closet to accommodate longer stays. 

The private en-suite bathroom features a deep soaking tub with an optional shower. Decorative vine details along the ceiling and walls add to the room’s layered, timeworn character, reflecting the creative adaptation of historic spaces.

The room includes bedding and towels, noise machines, a space heater, black-out curtains, hair dryers, and toiletries.
