The house opens into a gracious central hall that immediately conveys the scale and craftsmanship of the original Victorian design. Guests may store coats in the entry closet before settling into the hall’s seating area, where soft upholstery, sculptural lighting, and ornate stained-glass windows create a warm and welcoming first impression.
From the hall, the space flows naturally into the parlor, a richly colored room designed for conversation and shared time. Plush Victorian sofas and chairs provide comfortable seating, while a discreet, ceiling-mounted high-definition projector allows the room to transform easily into a setting for movie nights or quiet evenings in.
Adjacent to the parlor is the dining room, centered around a large wooden table that comfortably seats ten. The adjoining chef’s kitchen is fully equipped for group meals and extended stays, featuring high-end, modern appliances including a six-burner gas range and oven. Two refrigerators and a separate pantry provide ample storage, and a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer is available for guest use.
A rear passageway leads to the billiards room, which features a 7.5-foot pool table beneath a salvaged church stained-glass window that casts colored light across a historic pew. Artwork contributed by friends and guests lends the room a gallery-like feel. From here, guests can step into the three-season sunroom, a bright and inviting space accented by an ornate Turkish lantern and well suited for relaxed afternoons or evening conversation.
Guests may access the upper floors via the grand carved front staircase or the original servant staircase rising from the kitchen. The second and third floors house the guest rooms, each with a private bath. A discreet bookcase door reveals a spacious yoga and movement room, furnished with low seating and a television. Yoga mats, resistance bands, and light weights are provided for guests who wish to stretch, practice, or unwind during their stay.
