Foothill-Palo Cedro FFA

The FFA is a national organization that is intra-curricular to ag classes to foster premiere leadership, personal growth and career success. All students automatically become members of the National FFA Organization when they are enrolled in an FHS agricultural class. Becoming involved in the FFA will help students develop valuable leadership, social and public speaking skills. FFA is worth 10% of a student's grade.

Students will be graded on the number of “leadership points” they earn each semester. Opportunities to earn points will be announced in class and online. To earn full FFA credit, you must earn 10 points a semester (example: 2 FFA Meetings). Events are offered during the school day on campus, to offer all students equal opportunities. Opportunities to earn activity points include such things as attending FFA chapter meetings, attending leadership conferences, participating in FFA competitions, and volunteering at various events throughout the year.
