As part of the Football Education Academy we offer a traineeship that can last between 12 weeks and six months.

With a direct focus on employability, we offer trainees a bespoke work placement within Sheffield United Football Club as well as relevant qualifications in both sport and employment. Trainees will work along side and be mentored by uefa licensed coaches as well as some trained P.E teachers.

Qualifications on offer:

• NCFE level 1 Certificate Sport
• City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Employability
• Level 1 Sports Leadership
• Functional Skills mathematics
• Functional Skills English

Work Experience opportunities:

• Football and holiday camps
• Primary School PE and School Sport (multi-skills, extracurricular and literacy programmes)
• Social Cohesion, health and disability football sessions
• Sports Admin and media*
