'Who am I in History?' Day
We had so much fun taking part in our ‘Who Am I in History?’ day! We were so impressed with everybody’s creative outfits and, even more importantly, the amazing facts they shared about their chosen person. Wow great job Reception!
WB: 27.04.26 - A Dragon Discovery!
Wowee! You won't believe what the Brave Knight has done. She went away on holiday and left us to look after her baby dragon. A DRAGON?! We thought about what our dragons would look like if we had one of our own - we heard that all knights have their own dragon!
WB: 04.05.26 - Who should we call?!
After worrying that our baby dragon might start breathing fire, we decided to ask the experts for help! Watch our video to hear our brilliant "young squires" using their 5-star writing and brand-new question marks to interview the firefighters. We asked about everything from fire safety to what it’s really like to work at the station. We hope the team at Acton Fire Station is ready for us!

WB: 18.05.26 - Castle Making & Hampton Court Palace
After becoming history experts and building our own majestic castles out of junk modeling, we headed off on a magical trip to Hampton Court Palace! Take a look at our video - we had such a blast!

Our classroom turned into a fairy tale this week when a giant beanstalk appeared alongside a letter from Jack asking for our help! We headed straight into Forest School to plant our own magical beans and put our 5-star writing skills to the test by creating clear instructions for Jack using words like first, next, and finally. We had the most beautiful day celebrating our vibrant school community during our Festival of Culture! The children looked absolutely spectacular dressed in their traditional outfits and the proud colors of their flags. 19.06.26 - Sports Day!
The sunshine was bright, the energy was high, and our incredible athletes gave 100% effort in every single race! From sprinting down the track to cheering on their teammates with wonderful sportsmanship, the children made us all so incredibly proud.

After discovering it was King Charles’ birthday, we put our expert writing skills to work and sent some brilliant, question-filled letters straight to the palace! We also worked incredibly hard to learn and perform a brand-new royal poem together. Take a look at our video!
