The Star Still Shines

This week, we have been celebrating 'The Epiphany'. During Prayer time, we have been talking about the long journey the 'Three Wise Men' took to visit the Baby.

On Friday, we had a snack time fit for a King. We wore our crowns and ate delicious fruit together.

Jesus Blesses the Children

This week, we have been reading a very special story from Scripture about Jesus welcoming everyone. We are reminded that Jesus loves and cares for each of us and welcomes us into his family

Feeding the 5000

We have been reading from Scripture. We know about the special miracle Jesus performed so everyone was included. We are beginning to understand the importance of sharing, just like Jesus.

"Five little loaves, two little fish, All on a tiny wooden dish. Jesus blessed them with a prayer, And shared the food with everyone there.

A bite for you, a bite for me, As many fish as the deep blue sea! When they were done and the crowd was fed, They had twelve baskets of leftover bread"

Season of Lent

We are Growing in Kindness this Lent. We have made Lenten promises to show what kind and caring things we can do for others. We put our promises on our Kindness tree.

We planted cress. During Lent, we are going to watch it grow with love and kindness.

Palm Sunday

This week, we have been talking about the lead-up to Easter, focusing on Palm Sunday.

We made our own Palms and retold the story to our friends

The Last Supper

We shared bread with each other, just like Jesus did with his friends.

When we ate the bread, we thought of Jesus.

Good Friday and Easter

This week, we decorated our Easter Tree to help us remember the story of Jesus. We talked about how it was a very sad day when Jesus died on Good Friday. But then we became happy again when we heard the good news that Jesus is alive! Easter is a special time for us to remember Jesus and how much He loves us.

Give me joy in my heart...

We have joy in our hearts to hear the news that Jesus is Risen. During Prayer this week, we have been thinking about what gives us joy in our hearts and sharing this wonderful news with our friends.
