Technology Teacher Leaders

The WLCSD Technology Teacher Leader Program

A digital learning assessment was done in Feb 2018 to help the district identify the next steps needed to improve digital learning environments at all levels. A recommendation was made to develop building-based Technology Teacher Leaders (TTLs) to leverage expertise and site availability.

TTLs will model technology integration and support teachers as they adopt technology into their classroom practices at the building level. Identified teachers will help drive differentiated PD. Release time will be available for coaching and demonstration of best technology integration practices.

Interested teachers applied for the program in May 2018, and up to one TTL for each elementary and middle school, and up to two TTLs for each high school were selected.
