The topic of the 3/22/19 building based PD day was the WLCSD Instructional Framework. An optional online professional learning opportunity was created for those interested in learning more about the instructional framework, but were unable to attend professional learning activities at their school. Educators who complete this online opportunity outside of the regular work day will earn one Kalpa hour: #985705.

Beginning July 1, all REMC Virtual Courses have been revised to offer 10 free SCECHS when upon successful completion. Now you can reach your continuing education credit goals faster by taking our free Virtual Courses. The classes provide a convenient way for education professionals to learn and collaborate while reducing the time and expense of traveling to a seminar or workshop. All REMC courses are open to all Michigan school personnel. There are no registration or SCECHs fees.
Seven courses are offered in July and seven additional courses in August. Each course is open for three weeks and consists of two (2) one-hour webinars and four (4) to eight (8) hours of resource review, assessment developments and written reflection. See summer topics and additional info here.
