Mixed media Drawing

The main idea that guided my artwork was drawing with charcoal. I had to draw my friend with a material I am not really familiar with and it was difficult learning the different shading techniques.

The work was made with charcoal and white pencil.

It started with me just going box by box and just trying to get it as accurately as I can. Then I ran into a problem when I got to the glasses where I needed the hair to go over them but I forgot that so I decided to just use a white color because thats kind of what his hair looked like.
