I took this picture of me to draw because i thought it looked good enough.  I also chose to squint my eyes cause I wanted to see how challeging it was but I havent gotten to check my therory.   This project relates to my life because it is a picture.

This piece was made with 2H, 2B and 4B pencils. This piece was created by me by making a graph on my reference image, looking closely on my drawing paper to make it the same size, then working square by square from the top left corner to the bottom right corner.

I utilized the gird procedure, which I just described. I chose this method because it is much simpler, and I believe it made my self-portrait look a lot more like me than my previous ones had. My project turned into a grid of paper in front of me. My eyes, which I believe appear a little strange, should be fixed if I were to add more to this work.
