Linoleum prints

The goal was to make four linoleum block prints: a solid-color print, a print with several colors, a print on an unconventional surface, and a print that had been expanded in some way by being colored or drawn on top of.  I used some scenery that reminded me of japan as a refrence. The mountains and the bonsai trees.

I used the masking to create the one color of brown and I also made one with both red and yellow.

I may not have made my best work when it came to the prints but I know if I was going to do it again I would focus on make the trees farther away from the clouds to make more of a defined shape and also use less paint when masking it.
