The diffrence between the pictures is in the bottom left corner of the first image, it is pushed to the left side of the image creating more space for the field to show, creating the second image.
For my cloning and overlays project I decided to take pictures of nature because that is my favorite type of images to create. I took a picture of my grandparents farm and edited it to look more open. And I edited a photo of grass and a leaf to make the leaf look like it belonged in that background.
For my cloning part of the project I took a picture of my grandparents farm. The picture consists of lots of trees, a hard to see meadow in the background, and the old barn that was taken down. What I decided to do was try and move the debris from the barn that was taken down. I ended up moving the debris over more to reveal more open space for the grass to show, so that the picture was more open.
For the overlay part of the project I decided to take a nice and easy approach to the background and took a nice calm photograph of a patch of grass, I wanted to have a background that my leaf would fit perfectly in. I could have done a better job on editing the leaf because it sort of looks out of place but at the same time it doesn't.
