Outdoor Furniture Design

Material choice: In our outdoor furniture we decided to make a bench using a metal roof panel, pressure treated lumber, and redwood lumber. We chose these materials because we wanted a waterproof roof. We also chose pressure treated lumber because it is cheap and lasts for a good amount of time. We also chose redwood lumber because it doesn't have any splinters and is nice to sit on.

Blueprinting: After spending a lot of time thinking about our furniture, we created detailed, and to scale blueprints. We also made a cut list to know how to cut the lumber.

3D Model: After creating our blueprints, we made a model out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. We then made our model to scale.

Budgeting and Material list:  After creating the blueprints and the model, we figured out what type of materal we needed to create our outdoor furniture.  We then went to the home depot website and priced out all of our material.

Reflection:

I think two things that I did very well on was my communication and conscientious learner. The reason why I think I did well on those two is I thought I communicated very well with my group, and told them what we should do in a nice way. The reason why I think I did well in my conscientious learner is because I was always working in a timely manner and hardly procrastinated.

Two things that I think I need to work on after this project is my character and my critical thinking. Sometimes I get upset at my group, but I need to work on that so for my character to improve. I also think that I need to work on my critical thinking because sometimes I spend time and brain energy on unnecessary things.
