The Project
For this project we had to create 5 models of the solar system.
The first was just a drawing of what we thought the solar system looked like.
For the second model we drew the planets to size and measured how far apart they were. This model was more accurate.
The third model was adding facts about each of the planets on to our drawing. We chose things like length of day, orbital period, and gravity.
For the fourth model we had to use an equation to find a specific thing about a planet. My partner and I chose gravity. We used our equation on Planet X to find what its gravitational acceleration was.
During the week we did the fifth model I was out sick, so my partner completed it.

Reflection
Overall this project was one I enjoyed. I think I paid attention and learned. Some things I did well this unit were paying attention and taking initiative. I worked well with my partner and thought about things. I asked questions and was engaged. Some things I would like to work on are collaboration and communication. I was absent for the second half of this project, so I couldn't work on it. Overall I enjoyed this project and I think I learned a lot. I wish I could have been there for the rest of the project.
