Our Favorite Parts of NHS AP Tests

  1. The tiny desks in Room 728. Shoutout Needham High for finding desks that fit ¾ of our testing booklet, let alone the answer bubbling sheet, writing utensils, or anything else we need on our desks! Super ideal test-taking circumstances.

  2. The proctors! So much love for the college students and teachers whose 10-minute reminders did not shock us to our core. Reading instructions and collecting testing booklet skills? 10/10.

  3. <3 College board <3. An institution of beauty and equity, knowledge and growth. Reasonably-priced exams, fairly-secured test questions, all of it. Profits off totally stable, willing teenagers: corporation of the year award!

  4. The lack of discussions following the tests. Per college board rules, we, of course, don’t discuss any test content after the test. There’s no realizing we got questions wrong, no crying-laughing sessions about how much we did not know; I’m so glad we’re not allowed to talk about anything on the test!

  5. My top pick for the highlight of our AP tests are the seals. This one genuinely makes up for the test itself -- the wondrous, white stickers we use to seal the testing booklets may have actually been the best part of my entire year. From placing them perfectly in the lines to securing the test questions I definitely knew every answer to and recognized from my year-long AP courses, these made everything worth it.
