Liliana Contreras-Meador grew up in Peru. She lived there for the first 28 years of her life, until she decided to immigrate to America to live with her now husband. The immigration process was not easy for Liliana. She described it as invasive, humiliating, and generally difficult, but the hardships were worth it. She is now married with two children and working as a Spanish teacher at Needham High School. She loves her job, she loves her family, and she embraces her cultural background.
