Early Life

Liliana grew up in the highlands as a child living in Peru. She moved to Lima when she was 11 years old. Life in the highlands of Peru is typically characterized by cold temperatures, beautiful landscapes, and a rich cultural heritage.

After Liliana lived in the Highlands, she lived in Lima. This is the same place where she met her husband, who is the reason she immigrated to America. Lima is a very overpopulated city, where about 30% of the country's population resides. Liliana described the city as very dense and dangerous.
