Girls Programming League

The Girls Programming League (GPL) Challenge is our annual online programming competition for middle and high school female students. Held every September since 2018, GPL attracts over 100 participants from schools across multiple countries.

The event features a two-hour algorithmic programming contest with problems written by our Programming Club members, split into novice and advanced divisions. Each year has a different thematic focus, such as artificial intelligence or cybersecurity, connecting programming challenges to current technology trends.

GPL also includes a panel discussion with women in tech who share their experiences and offer guidance to participants. This combination of competition and mentorship provides a supportive environment for young women to explore computer science and connect with peers who share their interests.
