Description: The Drama Club is active year-round, producing two shows each year: the fall play, and musical. With nearly 100 active members, Drama Club is one of the largest groups in the school dedicated to the performing arts. In addition to performers who wish to be on stage, we also welcome students who wish to take on more of a behind-the-scenes role as members of the Tech Crew. The tech crew utilizes the talents of those who desire to work with lights, sound, properties, sets, costumes, and hair/makeup. There is a place for everyone and all levels of experience are welcomed. The advisor is Ms. Secondini.

Description: Jazz Ensemble is an extra-curricular activity with rehearsals held after school and in the evenings. Students will be required to audition although prior experience in jazz styles is not necessary. The ensemble will rehearse and perform jazz literature, with emphasis on rhythmic styles and development of improvisation techniques. The Jazz Ensemble frequently performs at various school and community functions.

Description: This is an auditioned group of 20-24 singers, which rehearses September through December. They present about dozen concerts during the holiday season, wearing Renaissance costumes. Each year, singers memorize 25 pieces in four or five different languages, sung without accompaniment. Auditions are held in June for the upcoming year. Description: Students who wish to participate in Marching Band must demonstrate reasonable proficiency on a wind or percussion instrument and will be seated in the organization based on Director evaluation. The Marching Band performs at all area parades and band festivals as well as football games. All Marching Band musicians are required to attend rotating lesson sessions.

Description: The National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) is a program that recognizes outstanding dance students for their artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement. Students must meet specific point requirements based on their activities and maintain a minimum GPA to be inducted and receive recognition, such as honor cords and pins for graduation.

Description: The HMHS Shakespeare Troupe hosts the Haddonfield Memorial High School annual Shakespeare Competition in the fall, Shakespeare's Birthday Celebration, and our annual Shakespeare in the Park event in the spring. These events are held in collaboration with the National English Speaking Union and Inkwood Books in downtown Haddonfield. We also participate in the Princeton English Speaking Union’s Shakespeare Competition in February. Description: The HMHS Tri-M Music Honor Society is an honor society dedicated to the promotion of music through performance and service. Eligible students must hold a GPA of 90 or above and have a minimum of 10 credits completed in HMHS music classes including choir, band and orchestra.
