Description: The purpose of the Asian American Culture Club is to engage with students of all races to celebrate, embrace, and increase awareness of the Asian and Asian American identity. Our goal is to provide social support while fostering student development and success through cultural awareness, leadership, philanthropy, and community service. Each meeting provides students with a safe place to talk about and share personal experiences as well as address and discuss the cultural and social issues surrounding the Asian Americans in our country. The club is open to all HMHS students who are interested in engaging in cross-cultural understanding, promoting the unity, culture, and heritage of Asian students, as well as discussing the challenges that may be experienced coming from an Asian background. Description: FCA is a faith-based student-run group that encourages students to make great life decisions. FCA's main focus is to athletes but the club is open to all students. The club runs once a week during lunch where student leaders will present a fun activity and have a discussion on topic they plan while eating lunch. Occasional community service activities will be throughout the year, including a bake sale to raise money for purchasing Christmas presents and activities with other FCA communities throughout the county.

Description: The 50/50 Club is a student-run club working to promote gender equality and feminism. Members engage in discussions about current events, how to challenge stereotypes and discrimination that affect all genders, and promote gender equality within HMHS, the United States, and across the globe. Our biggest project is a women's art show that we host with The Haddon Fortnightly in the spring to benefit Girls Learn International. New members of all genders are welcome!

Description: Bonjour! The French Club was founded in 1982. The members promote French culture through fun activities! The club makes French food like crêpes, shows French films, shares French music, plays French games, participates in trivia challenges, etc. In The French Club, we will focus on immersing ourselves in the rich culture of French-speaking regions. Members can tutor other French students for service hours as well. Through guest speakers, French cultural trips, and enjoying the food and art of French-speaking regions, we hope to gain insight into French lifestyle. Description: The Anti-Bias Coalition is the umbrella organization for the Gender-Sexuality Alliance. We seek to facilitate student understanding and respect for diversity in themselves and others, and to take pride in their own often multifaceted identities, while supporting others of differing backgrounds.
The Gender Sexuality Alliance is a student-run organization for LGBTQIA+ students and allies that seeks to: create a safe and welcoming environment for all students at HMHS; educate the school community about homophobia, gender identity, and sexual orientation issues; stand up against discrimination, harassment, and violence in the school and community.
Our main events include: Addressing the school faculty, participating in community workshops, etc. The Day of Silence and the Night of Noise (April) Haddon Township Pride Parade (June).
Students are encouraged to email Ms. Penna or Ms. Katz if they are interested in working to make HMHS a more tolerant and safe place to be! Meetings are held at least once a month at the high school or virtually.

Description: German Club was founded in 1989 and is open to all students at HMHS who learn German. It's also an integral part of the German National Honor Society, which eligible students can join during their junior year. We participate in regional events with students from other S.J. high schools and host our exchange partners from Leibnizschule in Wiesbaden (even years) and Dietrich Bonhoeffer Schule in Weinheim near Heidelberg (odd years). This is a fun club for students who like learning the German language and about German culture. Any interested student should see Mrs. Feinleib in room A219.
