Good day, welcome to my E-Portfolio! 

My name is Mah Jia May (she/her), born in 2005 and I am a proud Malaysian-Chinese currently pursuing my A Levels studies in Singapore as an ASEAN scholar. The contents of this portfolio cover my recent years of holistic development throughout my high-school journey in two countries, as well as many rich experiences I've acquired from the various external projects and activities beyond school. 

Growing up in a country with vibrant and complex politics piqued my curiosity to educate myself about the multifaceted history of my home, Malaysia. History lessons in school were always a class I looked forward to. Sticking close to my motto and beliefs in life, I wish to stretch my potential and extend my knowledge of current affairs and history by pursuing Philosophy, Political Science and Economics (PPE) at University. In the long run, I seek interest in utilising these skills and disciplines in the public sector including whole-of-government strategic planning and policy development, or in the private sector like corporate strategy. I am also passionate about advocating for Youth Empowerment and Asian Representation. 

A few words that best describe me are responsible, hardworking, creative and sociable. Outside of school, you can find me designing random graphic posters, curating my Spotify playlist, binge-watching crime thrillers or hanging out with friends. Oh, and I hate coriander with a burning passion!
