I'm a senior college student at Dominican University of California majoring in Multiple Subject Teaching and Special Education. I'm currently working towards earning my credentials for multiple subject teaching and special education. I was born and raised in San Diego and moved to the Bay Area at a young age. My passion lies in teaching and opening new opportunities for children of all ages. Ever since I attended my first day of school, I knew I wanted to pursue teaching. There's something so rewarding about watching students improve and develop their skills. I enjoy the Arts and frequently draw, play guitar, and sing. I enjoy expressing myself through art and influencing others to do the same. At home I speak two languages: French and English. I've attended Elementary school in France and I have dual-citizenship. I love animals and my best friend is my dog who always brightens up my day. Whether it be local or international, I enjoy traveling with my friends and family.
I started speaking French from an early age and grew up reading French books. watching news from France, and listening to French artists. My grandparents are from the small region of Saône-et Loire, France and I had the opportunity to visit them each summer. Overtime, I developed my passion for my culture and it's a key part of my identity. I attended school in the small commune of Sagy during the summer for 2 months and taught English lessons for my class. It was a beneficial learning experience as I was able to improve my language skills, meet new friends, and overall enrich myself into my culture.
The Arts are very important to me, as it a form of expression and allows me to use my creative side. I enjoy drawing and painting portraits, animals, TV show characters, and still-life objects from time to time. Additionally, I play electric guitar and love to sing.
