The nature of children can vary in the classroom setting, whether they are extroverted or introverted, or possibly have different learning styles. I believe that children learn best in methods that work best for them, such as using V.A.R.K. (Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, Kinesthetic/Tactile). In my classroom I would like to incorporate this learning method and find which ones work best for my students. VARK can maximize students learning and understanding of a topic. I also believe that it is important to have an interactive classroom. An interactive classroom can create a positive learning environment, where students feel safe to share their opinions and interact with other students. With interaction in the classroom, the teacher becomes aware of each students abilities and interests, which allows the teacher to tailor each students learning experience (V.A.R.K.) and to grow at their own pace. Students also get to know each other and create new relationships out of their comfort zone.
