For this project, I got the opportunity to "say something" through art. We could say anything we wanted, so I chose to say how much I love my family and how important family is to me by representing each of my family members. I represented each of them by painting a pair of their shoes. I asked each of them what their favorite pair of shoes was, and then I took pictures of their actual shoes and got to paint them. This was one of my favorite projects so far because I got the freedom to choose what I wanted to do, and I was able to paint, which I really enjoy doing. I am very happy with how this project turned out. I loved being able to represent my family through my own art and show how each of us is different and unique, and our favorite shoes can show that.
