Self Portrait

For the first project in 2D Art, we drew a self portrait of ourselves. This was definitely the hardest art project I've done, but I'm happy with how it turned out. It was very hard to make the portrait look like me, but in the end I am very proud of how my self portrait turned out!

Food Painting

I was really looking forward to doing this project. I like painting, and I love ice cream sandwiches so I thought this would be a fun project. This painting was definitely hard. I ended up redoing almost everything multiple times, until I liked how it looked. In the end I am very proud of this painting. I love ice cream sandwiches, and I think my painting is fun and bright, and I love how it looks. I loved doing the sprinkles, and getting to add color to my sandwiches. I really enjoyed this project and I love how my ice cream sandwiches turned out!

Animal Etching

For this project we chose an animal that we liked or that was sentimental to us, and we etched the animal onto a plastic plate. After we finished etching, we spread ink into the areas we marked, and we pressed it through the machine to print. I chose a lion cub, and I really liked it, but I did some of my etching too deep, which made it harder for the printing. But in the end I am really happy with how my lion cub etch turned out. I especially like the face, and I love how dark the eyes are and how they stand out.
