Now that you have set your goal, defined the global context for your project and engaged in extensive research, you need to transfer this into criteria for success for your product/outcome.
When developing your specification, you can consider the following options:
Here is another example...
Strand 1: develop criteria for the product/outcome
Criteria that:
clearly define the specific characteristics of a high quality product/ outcome
explicitly informed by highly-relevant research justified, specific and multidimensional
You must also have a record of a plan on how you want this project to evolve. Easy charts on excel or GANTT as well as the ToDo list on Mbac can help you with this! See image below...
Strand 2: plan and record the development process of the project
A plan that includes
short- and long-term planning broken down into detailed, logical steps
a strong focus to the student’s project
specific dates, deadlines and clear records of adjustment to the project’s timeline
The record of the development process includes:
a comprehensive account of the process from start to
finish that corresponds closely to the plan
changes that are clearly described and justified
Strand 3: demonstrate self-management skills
You must be able to formulate a justification of:
your strengths and limitations for effective and independent time and task management
affective skills practised through the project
highly effective use of other self-management skills
Remember that everything must have proof in the appendix, so please keep track of your work in the journal, so you can easily quote it later in the report!
"Justify" means giving reasons and NOT just describing!
