We had a cultural exchange here, from 3 different countries, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. The participants was the first until fourth year of Special Need Education, Early Childhood Education, and of course, us, The SEA Teachers students. We attend the activity at 2 p.m. and served with traditional food from Philippines, like Nopi, Balikutca, Kamote Cue, etc.
Then, we had a practice of traditional dance from one the tribe in Philippines and a lecture about Indigenous People in Philippines. In the middle of the program, every participants perform a traditional culture, whether is it dance, sing, or others. Us, the SEA Teachers , especially from Indonesia, also had prepared what we want to perform, which is a mash up of several traditional dances in Indonesia. Combine with our traditional costumes, it shows that we can live peace and happily even in diversity.
This program also become the UNS and UDRU of SEA Teacher Students last program as we came here in Philippines. I had a mix feeling because it was fun during the program but also makes me sad because that is my last program.
