Reading a text while using the SQ3R method is really helpful especially if you're a student. What is exactly the SQ3R method? the SQ3R method is a reading and studying technique that helps improve comprehension and retention of written material.

SURVEY

QUESTION

READ

Actively read the text, looking for answers to your question. Highlight or underline key parts of the text.

RECITE

Put what you've learned into your own words to help move the information into your long-term memory.

REVIEW

After you're done reading, review the material to make sure you understand and remember it. You can repeat the process for a second set of questions.

REVIEW

KEY IDEA : consolidate learning through discussion or explanation.

DETAILS : discuss the material in a group or explain it to someone else. Reviewing helps reinforce the knowledge and ensures better long-term retention.
