Introduction
Memory strategies are techniques or methods used to enhance the process of encoding, storing and retrieving information. These strategies can help you remember information more effectively, whether for learning, work or daily life.
The memory activity from the above emphasizes the importance of effective memory strategies. As you can see my total point is 5 which is not too high nor too low. This means that I need to start using some of the memory strategies that can help me both in sharpening and improving my remembering skills.
For example :
Active learning : actively engaging with material through self-testing and organizing helps enhance memory retention
Use memory aids : strategies like rhymes, mnemonics and grouping information make it easier to remember details.
Practice over time : spaced repetition, rather than cramming, leads to better long-term retention.
Identify weaknesses : reflecting on poor memory habits, such as forgetting studied information or confusion between closely related ideas, highlights areas to work on.
By reflecting on these points, I can adapt habits that improve both my short-term performance and long-term retention.
