Description
The WHS Club Council coordinates student clubs at Weddington High School. Club Council facilitates collaboration between clubs, organizes school-wide service opportunities, and helps clubs connect with resources they need. Club Council represents club interests to administration and provides accurate information about club activities to school leadership.
Club Council meets monthly with optional attendance for club representatives. Meetings focus on coordination opportunities, sharing information, and connecting clubs with similar goals. New club applications are reviewed monthly, with final approval by site-based leadership. When clubs struggle with attendance or participation, Club Council works with advisors to identify solutions and provide concrete support.
Club Council's role is to make club leadership easier, not harder. We help clubs promote events, coordinate schedules, find collaboration opportunities, and navigate school procedures. Our goal is active, engaged clubs that benefit students and the school community.
