In working with the legal team, I was able to lay the groundwork for fulfilling their homelessness prevention grant requirements and furthering their investigation into CPMP and its current state. I provided a lot of research in the form of an annotated bibliography, background information, and statistics about the intersection of health, housing, and policy. I also organized, researched, and categorized potential stakeholders that the future webinars will be addressing and edited survey questions for needs assessment and program evaluation. For CPMP, I also collected as much data about the current state of the program and reached out to several contacts in order to identify stakeholders, increase buy-in, and understand more about the effects of incarceration on mothers and their children. I created an additional annotated bibliography for CPMP to help with future advocacy and policy changes and presented my research for both projects to the legal team. Overall, I completed most of what I proposed in my original scope of work and actual outcomes in terms of providing background research. I had weekly check-ins with the legal team and presented what I learned about the intersection between housing and health and how mass incarceration affects mothers and children.Â
