This is my self-portrait sketch.I really like it!It looks super-good.
I really like this because it looks super good,am I right?Miss Mi did this ,but I still put it here because it is amazing!!,
WOW
I did this and I think it's pretty good shading for a first time doing shading and realistic body parts on my face!
I used a HB pencil,a 2b pencil,a blending stick and a rubber. So far I've found these objects very usefull in art lessons!
It's like this now!
This is the photo on the end of this art lesson,at 26/9/2023
I used a big blending stick,a 2B pencil.I also used a rubber for lighting up the dark shading parts.
I really like my glasses.I don't mean it is black or anything. It is actually a shade of pink. But I kinda like it,since it looks amazing!
This is my end-of-lesson photo on the brown board. We did the hair today,so I am soooo glad it does not look like an egg head anymore!.
Today I used a big blending stick,a 2B pencil and a rubber for hair highlithgs.I used the pencil for coloring in the hair and the blending stick for blending the hair perfectly!
WWW:I think I did the hair perfectly. It looks so elegant. And realistic!I also think the mouth is good, too.
EBI:I hadn't sumdged a little bit of the neck, and if my eyebrows could be a little more detailed.
This is my mouth.Like I said,I really like it because it looks realsitic.
Today in art lesson,we did quick sketching of pablo picasso and teachers.
This is my emotions page of teachers! These teachers on the paper all have emotions from a video.
This is the Pablo Picasso drawing.
Unit 2:Color Theory
The reason it's perfect is because I got an empty color wheel from the google app and inserted it into procreate!
This one I also like it-not that I did not like the other one!For this one,I have used the monoline pen and holded it,so there is a shape.
Sandra silberzweig faces!!!
First we did this in pencil. Then do you wonder how will it get so shiny? We did the glue next! The way we did it was put the glue lid on the pencil lines and carefully squeezed!I think that it was very trick, but i was happy that i could do it!For me,my hands didn't ache at all.I've been playing piano for these last four years,so my hands are pretty strong!
At the end of the Art lesson,Me,Elizabeth, katoon Marie,Veda,Chloe and a lot more people made a fish! They did it with pencil first, then we glued it together!I think it looks very great and...a little fat.Hey,don't blame me,it took up the whole page landscape!!!
I love this a lot!It looks like a color nerd!:]
9/1/24
Today I finally finished my color thingy potrait! So I finished it and it ended up being VERY colorful.
This is the result!
This is a thing where you draw the a picture. But the object/anything you want people to see will be drawn. But the sky will be made in a art app: procreate etc etc
I started by drawing a city with pencil. A week ago I had 2 buildings finelined and the rest were still in pencil. This week I finelined everything and added some textures and lines. My artwork is a city scape. I really wanted it to be New York City. So I made it! This is the photo from last week:
Now this is the picture from today:
I kind of used the steps in the art website. I have a screenshot of the steps I followed:
This is step 1&2. I made the buildings and then made it 3D.
Now I finelined as it said and added some shanding like instructed!
These steps are actually really useful for my city pen drawing. But I followed these steps and added some of my own techniques,as I really liked drawing 3D cities. I would always draw a rectangal and then make it sort of 3D. And then I added some textures form the texture model I was using, like the bricks. I also added lines with pencil on the sides to make it a little more 3D.
The background, however is going to be made digitally. So I'm basically saying that I will make the sky in the app procreate and then take a photo of my pen drawing, then cut of the empty white space that's supposed to be the sky. I will have to use the pen that is best for a cloud and a sky blue colored sky. And I can't forget the sun! I want it to be during the summer at that time.
This one is a coil pot. We rolled out the base, and made coils out of clay. And we used this liquid that is almost like glie, except it's brown. And westuck the coils rogether and made a pot. I got around 6-7 coils.
We also made a plate. Basically we rolled out the clay, painted it, made patterns and etc. I used one of the tools in the art room to make some sort of piano keys-the black ones.
When we made the coil pot,we used these things:
Today I completed my digital media project! The pen work,at least. And I rubbed out the pencil lines, too!
I really like this city picture! It looks super good, and I liked how it turned out- at first I thought it would be a mess, but I just figured out that I am super good at making cities. Next week we might be doing the background in procreate.
What went well: The straight lines. Sometimes when I use a ruler, the ruler slides and I end up with wiggly lines.
Today I did my procreate work! It was very fun! I made loads of versions of my procreate picture. I really like some and I also added some text that is really funny and matches with the picture. Here they are:
I really like all of these except the red!
The last photo has a small women in a window, by the way. At first I was going to make the sky red and I added some text. It was the women talking. She was saying: " Yes,apparently our city is to bright to live in!" but then I accidentally made the text strech and I couldn't getvit back together, so... that was crazy!
This is my only sensible piece. I really like it and I think the sun is so happy!
I added lots of pink and colored the whole page so it looks purple.
Today everyone painted their coil pots! It was super fun and I want to do it again!
I actually didn't plan for this to happen- I actually wanted to make the purple part sky blue. And the inside would be white. But... I didn't do that! I saw purple and thought, okay! I am definetly doing purple!
I like this piece. But I think I could improve. Maybe(if possible) I can change the color to light pink? But this looks good! Light pink and sky blue go well with each other! Sorry, I meant purple.
This is the result of the clay plate! I just saw the result today! Actually,I thought that it was still in the kiln!
I think that this would have been better if I made the patterns /scratches even more clear then it is now. I like it a lot, though.
Last week, we sketched a character! And this week, we colored the character black and the background in two different colors. This was super fun and I was sure to be super careful because I didn't want to make a mistake!
And also, we made a poster about the artist called Basquiat! Here it is!
Today we used Posca pens and oil pastels to decorate our character that is up there! In the body, we used oil pastels. And outside the body of the character, we used posca markers. The part where we used the posca markers was really fun and also they dried out sooooo easily!
Evaluation time!
This picture below is my basquiat inspired artwork using mixed media. It shows a normal girl with a kinda funny looking face.
I used poster paint to paint my character black and oil pastels to make patterns in my character. Later we used posca pens to doodle on the background and also charcoal pencils and more oil pastels!
I am really happy with my character! I think it looks really good! I like all my doodles on the background and also the things I drew in the character. This turned out to be really really good and was worth the hard work!
My artwork would be even better if I planned what I did a bit more carefully! And also maybe if I planned it more carefully, I would have ended up with a much more readable Blinks slay! on my character's shirt. There was too less space for me to write it!
How is my work like Basquiat's? Well, I used some of the words and doodles from his artworks, like tic-tac-toe games, words like coke (there was coke on one of the pictures but I don't know why)!
That was a whole lot of typing! Anyway, here's the photo of it now! You can also see differences from the photo above and this picture below!
The second photo was what I was writing about. It's so cramped, the writing! And it doesn't help that I wrote it with an oil pastel crayon!
This picture up above is a my sketch that I did today! We were sketching outlines of oranges. We followed Mrs. Barnes's video on tye art website that had instructions! I haven't really finished it yet but I might next lesson!
Paul Cezanne was a French artist! Paul Cezanne drew over 1300 artworks! That is soooo much! He was born in January 19, 1893, at Aix-en province in france and he died on 22 October 1906. His artworks shiwed how free art could be. It could be about anything! That's all for today! See you next week!
Today I shaded in my orange drawing! Some of it is not very neat, but I like it! There are some parts that I wish I could fix, though. In the middle of the oranges (not slices) I put what looks like X letters that are supposed to be other things. I made them darker! Accidentally! Here's the photo and you'll know what I'm talking about:
Today we made monsters with clay and put them in our coil pots that we made. Here is a picture:
We used clay and other tools to make this! I am really pleased with my progress and my moster! I think most of it looks cute and amirable!
