Pre-Prep fun power handtools for worrkshop activities'

INTRODUCTION

For this project I'm required to design a range of workshop powertools (Eg. Drill, jigsaw,chainsaw,grinder,sander, etc.) it will not be working but it'll be for them to role play and use their imaginations. For Pre-Prep student, they are quite young of the age range of 4-7 years old, so I have to make sure it's colourful and playful, safe to use, easy to use, and can help them to use their imagination during using the tools.

IDEAS

For the theme of the workshop tools I'll be basing it on nature. Using nature as a theme I'll be making the tools colourful and it will also help them learn about the nature outside.

I was thinking about how the tools part and the handle part could be taken apart from each others so the children could choose which handle they want to use. They could be connected by using magnet or a Lego style connecting.
